Welcome to the Association of Birth & Baby Professionals.
The ABBP has been primarily created for Maternity Nurses, Doulas, and Night Nannies, but is also open to other professional roles within the baby industry.
Originally under the Title 'The Maternity Nurse Association (THEMNA)' the company was set up in 2009 by Kerry Davis Wilson - a professional and well respected maternity nurse.
In 2013 THEMNA was sold and rebranded, so that it could encourage a larger scope of professionals, who work with expectant mums and newborn babies. It also meant that previous ties with agencies could be dropped, in the hope that members could focus more on networking with each other.
